Ms. Mona Williams is an experienced financial services manager with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and auditing in the non-profit environment, majoring in accounting and Masters in Public Health. Especially strong in developing and mentoring staff. Have expertise in dealing with and resolving compliance issues as it relates to regulatory agencies and external auditors and has assumed primary job classification with an array of Not-For -profit companies primarily based in New York City and the metropolitan area, such as Covenant House, Novo Foundation, Episcopal Health Services, Brooklyn Public Library, Engender Health, Catholic Medical Mission Board, whereas focusing on Non-profit organization providing hospital and medical services Grantmaking organization Non-profit organization focusing on international healthcare. International child care agency providing shelter and services to homeless youths. She assisted the Chief Financial Officer with the day-to-day operations of the finance department. The primary functions are supervising the general ledger and accounts payable staff, managing the general ledger's monthly closing, and preparing financial statements for the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Also, assist with financial audits.
